FAQ
General
What is Giggity?
Giggity is where local employers and gig workers find each other on one platform. Employers post short-term gigs and Giggity auto-matches available workers in the same metro.
How does auto-matching work?
A worker is matched to a gig when they're in the gig's metro, they have the required skills, and they're available for the full duration. Ratings from past gigs help rank matches. If an employer turns on Require Verified, only Verified workers are matched.
Which cities are live?
Giggity is live in Philadelphia. Other cities are on the waitlist until we open them.
Employers
What is the $15 per-match fee?
When Giggity matches you with a worker, you can review their first name, skills, photos and availability for free. To see their full name, phone and email, pay a one-time $15 for that match. Workers never pay this fee. There's no cap on unlocks. No cash refunds: if a worker declines or doesn't respond within 48 hours, you get a credit for your next unlock.
Workers
Can I work in more than one metro?
Yes. Pick every metro you can work in. You can change this anytime.
How do I get Verified?
From your worker profile, choose Get Verified and complete the background check. The badge appears on your profile and match cards.
Billing
What does it cost?
Employers pay $30/mo after a 14-day Test Drive, plus $15 per confirmed worker. Workers are free until the first confirmed gig, then $10/month. There are no per-match fees for workers.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime from your account settings.
Is there a Test Drive?
Employers get a 14-day Test Drive. You only pay $15 when you confirm a worker, including during your trial. Workers are free until the first confirmed gig, then $10/month. Cancel anytime.
Am I charged before my city is live?
No. You're never charged until Giggity is live in your metro.
Safety
How are workers vetted?
Every worker passes an ID check with a selfie match, and both sides rate each other after every gig. Workers can add a background check to earn an optional Verified badge, and employers can require Verified on a gig.
